11+ Easter Courses – At a Glance
Parents can book one, two, three, or all four courses depending on their child’s needs.
All courses are:
- 4 days per subject (6 hours total)
- Live online teaching
- Small groups (capped numbers)
- Lesson recordings available for 1 week
- End-of-course written progress report
- Clear next-step guidance for the summer term
- Daily homework set and marked
Designed specifically for Year 5 pupils sitting the 11+ in 2026.
Year 4 Maths Mastery Easter Course
Children will focus on core mathematical foundations including:
- Long multiplication and long division
- Fractions and decimals
- Area and perimeter
- Multi-step word problems
- Time, money and measures
Outcome:
Stronger problem-solving skills and greater confidence tackling challenging maths questions.

Year 4 English Mastery Easter Course
English is a key subject for success in both selective school assessments and classroom learning.
Your child will work on:
- Reading comprehension strategies
- Inference and understanding deeper meaning in texts
- Vocabulary development and word meanings
- Sentence structure, punctuation and grammar
- Planning and writing short creative responses
- Expressing ideas clearly and confidently
Outcome:
Stronger reading comprehension, clearer writing and greater confidence expressing ideas.

Year 5 11+ English Comprehension Mastery Course
A focused course on reading for meaning and answering questions clearly.
Your child will develop:
- Inference skills
- Vocabulary in context
- Retrieval questions
- Structured written responses
Comprehension covers fact and inference, fiction and non-fiction texts, multiple choice precision and extended written responses.
Outcome:
More confident reading and clearer written answers.

Year 5 Creative Writing Mastery Course
A structured writing course for independent school exams.
Your child will learn:
- Strong story openings
- Descriptive vocabulary
- Sentence variety
- Story structure

Creative Writing develops structured, high-scoring techniques including diary, persuasive and descriptive compositions.
Outcome:
More structured, expressive, and confident writing.
