Each morning follows a carefully structured routine designed to maximize learning while keeping children engaged:

Our Teaching Approach
Academic Success Summer School is led by Reena Damani, Founder and Lead Educator, with over 20 years' experience in UK primary education and entrance exam preparation.
Our approach is:

All our teachers are:
- DBS-checked for child safety
- Experienced in UK primary curriculum and 11+ preparation
11+ Examination Preparation (Year 5)
Our Year 5 group receives specialist preparation for the 11+ entrance examinations, with a focus on both GL Assessment and CEM exam formats.
What's included:
- English: comprehension, grammar, punctuation, spelling and creative writing
- Maths: arithmetic, problem-solving and reasoning under timed conditions
- Verbal reasoning: word relationships, codes, logic and analogies
- Non-verbal reasoning: patterns, sequences, spatial awareness and matrices
- Exam technique: time management, question approaches and resilience strategies
- Mock test practice with constructive feedback
We prepare students for a range of selective schools including grammar schools and independent school entrance exams.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our in-person Summer School runs at North London Collegiate School, Canons Drive, Edgware HA8 7RJ. The school has excellent facilities, ample parking, and is easily accessible from North London and Hertfordshire.
Summer School runs Monday 10 August – Friday 21 August 2026, with daily sessions from 9:00am–12:00pm. Children attend Monday to Friday—that's 30 hours of focused, expert-led learning across two weeks.
The full two-week programme is £420 (Early Bird £399 if booked by 30 April 2026).
Week 1 only (10–14 August) is £250.
That's less than £14 per hour for expert teaching, all materials included.
Week 2 only (14–21 August) is available by request. Please contact us at Reena@AcademicSuccess.uk before booking so we can discuss your child's needs.
Please keep your child at home if they are unwell. We do not offer refunds for individual days missed due to illness, but we can provide materials to help them catch up where possible.
We keep groups small—a maximum of 8 children per class—so every child receives personalized attention and support.
Select the year group your child will be entering in September 2026. For example, if they are currently in Year 2 and will start Year 3 in September, book them into the Year 3 group.
Yes! Every parent receives written feedback at the end of the programme detailing what your child has worked on, their strengths, and areas for continued focus.
